Update on eavesdropping

I just can't do it. Don't know what my problem is, but I can't listen to strangers. First, it's just not right, and second, I have overheard people talking in the past about things that were really upsetting to me, and I just don't like hearing things like that when I can't be a part of the conversation.

And sometimes you just can't help it!

The girl who sits next to me has a new baby. Her shining moment was telling her girlfriend how she gets more sleep by making a bottle in the middle of the night and then propping it with a towel next to the baby's head and going back to sleep. If ever there was a recipe for KILLING a baby, that would be it. And all the disparaging remarks about nursing. Ick. Sometimes I wish I could have blinders on my ears. I'm too opinionated to keep my mouth shut for too much longer.

OMG, what a dummy that chick sounds like! I do NOT envy your position one bit. You must be going nuts listening to that garbage. And HOW can she even JUSTIFY putting down breastfeeding?! I don't know if I'd keep my mouth shut at all if I heard that crap... but then again, my mouth has gotten me into trouble before...
