Left Brain, Right Brain

I'm so excited! I started the Skull Illusion Scarf for imogen_blue last night and got about 34 rows into it - estimating, since it's not with me right now, but I'd say it's maybe 4-5" long right now. It's soft pink and white, just like she asked, and it's looking a LOT better than the last 2 or 3 times I tried doing this pattern! I can already make out the crossbones when I hold it at an angle!

My plan - Finish this scarf and send it ASAP - preferably before winter starts in Oz. I think that's more than reasonable. ;)

ETA: Oh, and I also got my Kacha-Kacha row counter last night! Woo-hoo!

What follows is just a personal status report of where I'm at with my knitting right now, and some near-term goals I have. ( Likely to bore, but it's for ME, not YOU ;) )
