I made a printable knitting log template!
Jan. 8th, 2006 07:09 pmI print these out and 3-hole punch them to keep in my "knitting binder", where I also keep lots of patterns I like in those nice clear plastic sheet protectors. It's come in really handy for keeping track of notes I have for each WIP I've got going on.

Mug shot goodness

This site is unnerving and amazing and touching and creepy and makes me want to laugh and cry and scream... it makes me feel both trapped and free, simultaneously. Looks like it was only started in January, but it's been mentioned in national media, and of course you can see for yourself how many submissions there are.
Some of it is pretty heavy stuff. Take your time.

I have been waiting for this kind of technology to start becoming more mainstream! Sure a top speed of 50 mph isn't that great, but it can only get better from here on out - first these motorcycles coming next year, then hopefully cars will be following, and then more and more cars, and then maybe we will finally stop having to be so dependent on fossil fuels! Hooray!

frino inspired me to play around with the look of my LJ some more, so here is the new incarnation! Please pay close attention to the fact that I have now incorporated Esperanto as a supported language, and as the language of my Comment links and stuff. ^_^ As some of you may remember, I learned Esperanto a few years ago over the summer. It is VERY easy, and pretty fun, and makes learning other languages easier, too! For more information about Esperanto, here are a few helpful links:

Then I thought it would be fun to watch Magical Trevor again, but now the song is stuck in my head. This will last for several days until I replace it with something else.... Dang it.

My birthday was just 2 months ago, and Giftmas is over, but I guess I just want to put this up here so at least *I* don't forget about it!
Don't worry, I don't expect anyone to buy me anything off this list. And it is by no means a complete list. I was just playing with it, and it's really just a few books and CDs I noticed or was meaning to buy at some point but don't care enough to actually do it. I guess I might update it if I get time or actually give a hoot about doing so at some point.
