It's official

I just got the official Job Offer from Veritas HR! (For the position I already knew I was getting anyway - lol) They just had to finish all the necessary paperwork and background checks and everything.

So sometime in the next 2 weeks or less (I guess they would prefer THIS week if possible), I will be switching over to Veritas from my current contract company of Cushman & Wakefield. I will be moving into a new office on 3rd floor, I will be getting a sizeable raise (just over 20%!!!), and yay! I will not have to deal with the silly receptionist crap that always gets in the way of me doing REAL work!

So that's where that's at.

A 20% raise?! That's FANTASTIC!! Way to go!!

Thanks!!! And I just realized today that when I converted from temp to perm back in January, I had gotten a 25% raise (HOLY COW!) but it didn't feel as big... I don't know how that works, but I like it!

It kind of reminds me of how Albert Einstein said that the greatest mathematical discovery of all time was COMPOUND INTEREST! :D LOL
