2005 Year in review meme
Jan. 10th, 2006 02:40 pmTake your first post from each month and post the first sentence or so.
January: I don't mind if I'm single forever... BUT, if I DID ever get married, it would NOT NOT NOT be a "traditional" wedding.
February: Well, I feel good about work today. For quite a while I was getting very discouraged with the general soap-opera drama crap that goes on there between some people, but it got SO ridiculous yesterday that I had to simply stop caring AT ALL, and then I suddenly felt a million times better.
March: High Excitement in Wisconsin. Questions? Comments? Concerns? I know I have several of each... more on that later.
April: Yeah, I forgot to mention a couple weeks ago that I bought the bike I was talking about buying.
May: Last year, for Memorial Day weekend, Jon and I went to Wisconsin Dells to play at the Kalahari Resort and Indoor Water Park, and we also drove to the House on the Rock, which is WAY neater than I can describe.
June: So... We do NOT have a new receptionist starting on Monday, Jamie's last day will NOT be tomorrow, and I will NOT be taking her position.
July: Please leave a one-word comment that you think best describes me. *(Man, this sucks. I shouldn't post so many memes.)*
August: There is a GIANT moth on the bricks of the building here at Symantec.
September: We skipped the Temple Burn so we could leave on Sunday afternoon instead of Monday morning. Took 3 days driving home instead of 2. Very nice and easy.
October: Seen on Zen Knit (specific entry located here): *(Yet more un-original material. Sorry! :(*
November: Grr. I waited excitedly all night for little Trick-or-Treaters to come to my door and only got 4 (And then one last call later on).
December: I dreamed I was back in New York. I couldn't tell if I was in Manhattan or somewhere in Queens. It looked a little like Astoria in some ways.
This was a strange one, but sort of interesting. It was neat to browse through my archive. I feel bad about the ones that are not "original material" (July and October) but at least most of them are actual stuff written by The Me.
