1. I got an email from Judy at The Knitter to tell me that the Peacock Feathers shawl pattern is finally in stock! I sent my PayPal payment right away and hope to get it by next week!


2. The Girl Scout Cookies arrived today! I had ordered 3 boxes - Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs. Mmmmm.


3. More couch legs arrived in the mail today from Slumberland. More WRONG couch legs. I swear. I think I should send the whole couch back for a replacement. Seems like it would be easier than trying to describe to the "Service" people on the phone what I need.


4. I have some fish in the oven right now so I'll be making another entry a little later about a funny incident at work today.

Yeah, seriously inept. I am going to go to their website and leave a comment about what's been happening with a link to pictures of the problem. It just seems like no one can understand what I'm trying to say to them on the phone.

if that doesn't get it done you should send the couch back.
it definitely looks like there should be a centre one as well as the two front ones. how could they overlook something like that? people have zero good work ethic anymore.

Yeah, the delivery guy who brought the coffee table a couple weeks after I got the couch - he told me that it's becuase all the furniture is made in China for CHEAP, and nothing is of any decent quality anymore. One of these days I'm just going to have to start making my own, I guess...

i've started buying old stuff from auctions - cheap.
i sand it down, re-varnish or paint, re-upholster or stuff... etc.
it's all so pretty & original! :o)
