Euro-Pizza
Feb. 24th, 2006 04:55 pmI have heard that people in England eat all kinds of CRAZY things on their pizza - like eggs or something. Well I went to the UK website for Domino's, and the only weird things I found were one pizza that included corn on it (along with a whole bunch of other, more "normal" toppings), and one that was called Domino's Tandoori Hot® - where the toppings were Tandoori chicken, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and jalapeno peppers. Now THAT sounds good. But I guess we won't ever get it here because Indian food isn't nearly as popular as it is over there. But I bet it would be super awesome yummy good!
Maybe smaller, more funky pizza places have more weird toppings... but I can find those in NYC. I had eggplant pizza out there! Yummm!! It was like eggplant parmesan on a pizza crust. ^_^
I want to go to England and order Domino's now.

Date: 2006-02-24 08:10 pm (UTC)my favourite pizza atm is from a little pizza shop on the corner & it's called the "EL Rio" - roasted mushrooms, roasted capsicum, chicken, bacon, salami, red chilli. YUM!
all the gourmet pizza stores have odd toppings like artichoke, eggplant, pine nuts, pumpkin, spinach, all seafoods (i can't face squid any time, esp not on pizza) etc. i bet gourmet pizza's there would be the same.
