Wedding dress crap

I saw a dress at the mall this weekend that literally took my breath away - I just stood there and gasped when I saw it in the shop window. I went in to look at the price while Jon was in a neighboring Poker Shop.

Dammit.

My taste is just too damn good. The dress was $1500.

Oh well. Maybe I'll find something similar some other time. But I'm still cranky.

It's hard to describe - let's just say it was GORGEOUS... but that price is ridiculous for a one-time costume... I'm thinking I'd like to pay less than $500, or even less than $250 if I can! :)

i can understand that.
i'd want an outfit i could re-use.
but i've seen cousins & aunts spend thousands just on the dress.
of course they all looked like glittery meringues.
which is not a look i ever want to go for.

you've got me thinking about my wedding dress.
i think we'll go all 1920s & everyone has to dress flapper-style.
it'll be very cute. of course i suck at preparing anything.

Ah, but lest you forget...it's a WEDDING dress and as we've already discussed, that adds AT LEAST $1000 to anything using that word.
