Date: 2005-07-22 09:51 am (UTC)I'm also not a phone person. I have a land line at home, but only because I need it for the security system and to send the occasional fax. And I had to get a cell phone a couple years ago for work, then got hooked on the convenience, but I almost never remember to turn the ringer back on after my AA/NA meetings, so it's not too bad on the distraction scale.
I do most of my important communicating either face to face (preferred), or via e-mail late at night while the rest of the country sleeps.
