Mothra - Part II
Aug. 1st, 2005 06:40 pmI promised I'd post pictures of my new moth buddy from Symantec.
This is Mothra looking pretty next to my hand:

And this is Mothra in relation to a US quarter:

Sorry the pictures are not so great. He was up kind of high on the wall, so I had to really reach up with the camera and stuff.
In looking at these again, i'm sure that the pix just don't give the viewer a very good feel for the actual LARGEness of this particular insect, but you'll have to trust me, he's a BEEFY fella!

Date: 2005-08-01 08:05 pm (UTC)I think I've seen those gigantic moths you're talking about - although they were dead and mounted on pins in a museum. But still.... creepy! I don't think I'd like one landing on me! I think Mothra was almost pretty enough for me to want to pet him... he reminded me of a small bird. (I'm weird.)
