I like art. I like visual self-expression. Somtimes images speak more strongly than words. I am trapped by words. I wish I could make images like the ones in my mind.
breasts:
I have two of them, and I love them. I think women who get implants for reasons other than post-mastectomy surgery are idiots. I think anyone who believes she needs a boob-job "to feel better about herself" is a moron. And anyone for whom that actually works (I know there are some) needs to have her head checked. Breasts are amazing things! They make the perfect food for babies! They are beautiful because they are part of YOU. Love them, appriciate them, free them! (I am also very strongly of the opinion that women deserve the same right to be able to go topless as men. Breasts are ONLY sexualized in our culture because we COVER them and make them taboo. They are beautiful, but they should not be so fetishized. Read all entries under my tag "Breasts" for more on this issue.
crochet:
I actually don't like it nearly as much as knitting, but my favorite beanie is one I crochet(ed). It's a handy thing to know, and I'm glad I learned, because that's what actually got me re-interested in knitting, which I learned as a teen and then neglected for about 12-14 years. Now I love it! All thanks to Grandma's crochet lesson.
feminism:
I don't like this word, because sometimes it means something that I don't mean. What I actually mean is "humanism" I guess... I believe people should be treated equally regardless of their sex. I believe in equal pay for equal work. I believe the differences between the sexes are AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL and should be CELEBRATED, not ignored. That's my feminism.
grammar:
I am in love with grammar. The rules, the exceptions, the quirks. It's super neat. I don't know how else to explain this.
mindfulness:
Being aware of your present moment. No reflecting, thinking, judging. Just be. Wherever you go, there you are. This is important.
pastafarianism:
This is one of the many names of the religion of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. A very worthy religion. Try it, you'll like it! Our heaven has a stripper factory and a beer volcano.
reading:
I love to read. It is a window to the world, and to other worlds too! I am so thankful for my love of books.

zebracar:
This has a dual meaning. Zebracar is Jon's old VW Golf, painted with very realistic zebra stripes. He sold it to Andy, but Andy kept the stripes. He did not keep the associated website. :(

Zebracar is also Jon's LJ name, but he has not written any non-private entries in years now.

I love the zebracar, but I love Jon far more. I would be a lot more upset if Andy had bought him.
