Tough Decision

What a quandary. The café here at work is serving Reubens w/ those awesome potato wedges that I love, AND Chicken Kiev with Wild Rice. Both are favorites of mind. Gah.

WOW - I can't believe what a loser I am! Do I have NOTHING better to think/talk/write about right now? Thinking.... thinking....

I contacted IT yesterday because a bunch of my settings got messed up when they reconfigured a certain machine. Now I can't access certain directories that I NEED to, and I can't update the internal web site that changes about twice a day, and people depend on that information. I've had to be sending out emails and extra notices on Outlook meeting invitations reminding people that they won't be able to get this information off the web site. I told IT that it was a High Priority situation, and needed to be fixed immediately. I didn't hear back from them at all yesterday. They didn't even assign my case to a provider yet! So this morning I went in and changed the status of the case to URGENT, because it affects more than one person and the stuff that this web content reflects is rather important stuff that people need to be ablet to access.

OK. There. I've added some "content" to my post about food.

Question for you, O' Lady of Crafts: Any idea who might still have Christmas lights for sale around here? I'm looking for the little white ones that come on a green wire of 50 bulbs. The ones I keep up in my dining room year round went dead about a month after would have been convenient. I've tried Jo-Ann's & Michael's to no avail. And Home Depot and Menard's and Walgreen's. Thought you might have an idea...?

Did you check Target? They're probably out now, but right after Xmas they had TONS of lights.... Otherwise, I can't think of anything...

Well, if we end up with any extra Glänsa lights from IKEA, would you like some of those? They are 42-foot long strands of El-Wire... very pretty, and we have several colors.

Nooo, those aren't quite what I'm looking for, but thanks. I'm used to the tiny white ones, and don't adapt well to change, heh. My living & dining rooms are rigged with timers so that each night subdued lighting comes on in both rooms. The little white lights are perfect for over the dining room curtains.
