My Head is Spinning

ambericaThursday night up to last night was a total whirlwind of preparations, driving, and activities. I had a super busy, super fun weekend with Inga, Kathryn, and Scott, too! I talked my throat sore and had just the most WONDERFUL time being with the gals all weekend up in Devils Lake, ND. ^_^ I wish I had more opportunity to hang out with more of my college friends more often... but I guess this is just adult life. My mom gets to see her best friend once a year or less, so I guess I've done OK so far.
Got a haircut last Thursday. She didn't quite do it the way I like, but close enough. Meh.
Today is the first day of Spring. Hooray!
I just got a leftover Veritas travel mug (in a lovely faux-velvet drawstring bag) and a canvas CD holder that includes a 4-way USB hub and a USB keyboard light. As soon as they emailed us and said there was free stuff with the old corporate logo on it, there was a MOB. I was part of it. Got my free Veritas stuff. W00t. I actually needed a travel mug. My old one broke, and my "backup" one went permanently sour from when I accidentally left it in the back of my car with some cappuccino in it. Yuck. I didn't really need a 4-way USB hub, and it's only USB 1.1 anyway, but I guess it'll be nice to have around, just in case. The USB keyboard light is cute - you can pose the cable like a snake. I have no idea when I'd ever use this thing.
I joked this weekend during all the girl-talk that "MY house sure isn't getting cleaned this weekend!" - but when I came home last night... My house had been cleaned! Hooray for Jon! He's the best. ^_^ He also sewed the "skin" for his Bad(d)erpillar car, so hopefully he will start posting pictures of that on the website he registered for it soon. It is really beautiful.
We have several more houses on the list to look at in the near future. The one we are going to look at tonight is one that Jon actually walked through on his own with the realtor last week. He took a lot of pictures and video for me, but tonight I get to see it too. I'm really not sure if I like it too much, but I have to give it a chance. He said he drove by it this weekend and saw someone in the driveway. Perhaps it was the other "interested party"... I kind of hope so! I think we can find something different that we will BOTH be really excited and enthusiastic about.
