I put up a new display pic. I like my hair in it. Shiny and fluffy!
My mom has back surgery tomorrow morning. She expects to be on her feet and feeling a lot better by Thanksgiving. I sure hope so! It's sad, though, that we won't be able to go out to the farm because it's hard for her to ride in the car. At least we have some family in Fargo to spend the holiday with, but it will be smaller and quieter.... It's going to be a Peterson Thanksgiving instead of a Smokov Thanksgiving... and no offense to my Dad's side of the family, but I think that the Smokovs tend to be more fun, or at least more active and noisy! I like a big loud family gathering, as long as no one is fighting.
Also, since Jon might be coming with me, I was really excited for him to meet the Smokov side of the family (or at least some of them), but it looks like that will have to wait. Oh well. I gotta go to bed. But Yay for the upcoming 3-day weekend!
