I helped my Hamburger Helper

Last night I made Hamburger Helper. Sue me. It was quick and I was in "no mood" to be cooking for real. It was some kind of cheeseburger macaroni something-or-other.

I looked at it. I smelled it. I considered slicing pickles onto it. I opted for Worchestershire sauce. It wasn't that bad. It wasn't like a super flavor taste sensation, like Frank's RedHot, but it was OK. There is plenty of leftover Hamburger Helper. Tonight I will slice some pickles onto it.

People are insane - especially while driving

This morning, on the way to work, I stopped at the 5-way intersection a few blocks from my house. When I started to go again, turning left, I noticed a woman in a minivan approaching the intersection directly across from me. She was approaching it really fast, mouth wide open (laughing) and applauding. No hands on wheel. For all I know her eyes were closed. She had glasses and kinda sad-looking 80s hair. She did stop at the stop sign, but it was abrupt. Then she stopped clapping and put her hands on the wheel.

There was no one in the car with her. I doubt the radio could hear or appreciate her applause.

Aged anchovy sauce and vegetable juice

I used to think I liked Virgin Marys (Can't stand vodka, so Bloody Mary is out of the question.)

It turns out what I actually like is just V8 and Worcestershire sauce. I could go without the rest. Although celery salt sure is nice sometimes. But I really just like V8 and Worcestershire the most. As in, I would not like to drink one without the other.

Sometimes I drink V8 all by itself. But it's always much better with Worcestershire Sauce.

Tomato juice doesn't cut it. I like the full V8 blend of tomatoes, carrots, celery, beets, parsley, lettuce, watercress, and spinach. Tasty.

Ever had Clamato? It's a tomato-clam-juice blend. Not as bad as you'd think. Quite flavorful, actually, but I never buy it. I think because I'm not used to buying it. And I can never remember exactly what it tastes like, so I'm always afraid to get a whole bottle in case I don't like it as much as I thought I did.

EDIT: And apparently Clamato is more popular as a mixer than as a drink on its own. So maybe I'll never drink it much. Eh.
