I don't know why I didn't see this before. LJBook lets you turn your entire LJ (including comments and pictures!!) into a very nice pdf file. I don't think I would ever need to do this, but it's nice to know the option is there. I tried it. I've been doing this LJ thing since May 7, 2004, and my LJBook was almost 350 pages long. I'm sure it will get much longer.

One of the things I liked best about this was the fact that you could browse in Adobe by year and month, and the file itself also had a Table of Contents with clickable links for every single entry title, so you could just jump to the page where the entry was.

If I ever move my blog from here, I might have to use this service. Good thing to know.

Hey everybody reading this! Are you interested in taking up a new hobby that is super fun and super good for you? (yeah, it's so fun it's not even like exercise, but your body doesn't realize that as it's pumping its heart and burning those calories and building that muscle!)

Well you can get a 5.8% discount when you shop at Home of Poi by clicking this link! It has comprehensive information about poi, staff and twirling, including animated lessons, discussion forums, building instructions, articles and a shop. AND, you are getting this discount because I am such a good customer there.

The more of you who take advantage of this offer, the more points I get on my account, and the more I will want to buy - and the more I buy, the bigger discounts I can offer to YOU! It's great! We all win! Go buy stuff at Home of Poi. ^_^

I must be psychic, or else I have a really good natural sense of airmail shipping time.

MY COLOR-CHANGING POI ARRIVED TODAY! Hooray! As mentioned in an earlier entry, I had them shipped to Jon's work, and when I got home today there was the backage on the shelf next to the key-hanger by the back door! I had to bounce a few times. Then I ran downstairs to say hi to Jon and open the package and try them out. OMGwtf they are so pretty!! LOL kthxbye!!!11oneone Wow, I'm starting to annoy myself!

Seriously, though, they are gorgeous. They go through EVERY color of the rainbow and the color change is very smooth and subtle. It would be irresistible to just sit and stare at them forEVAR if I was stoned. I gave them a few spins and Indy attempted to bop them a few times, so I took them outside to see them in the dark - BEATUTIFUL. I am very very pleased. ^_^

And speaking of poi, I found out thru the TC Burners mailing list (and then again from a kind friend who forwarded me the message just in case ^_^) that there is going to be an 8-week poi spinning class starting at the end of this month. While I've been doing pretty well figuring out quite a bit on my own, I think it would be really fun to sign up and get some hands-on help with my 5-beat weave. It's $55, but I think that's a pretty good price for 8 weeks! I'll have to look a little more into it.

I signed up for the poi class with Minneapolis Community Education! I think it will be fun and I hope to get the hang of some moves that I've been having difficulty with on my own. Anyone wanna join me? Just $44 for 8 weeks of classes, starting at the end of this month. Act fast!
