I saw this meme quite a while ago but never really wanted to do one. I changed my mind today.

1. afda:
   This is alt.fan.douglas-adams - a newsgroup to which I subscribe. I rather like it, the regulars are intelligent, witty, and fun. I don't post much, but it's a very welcoming place for the most part.


2. brak:
   All hail Brak! Brak is a space-pirate-cat. He is one of the enemies of Space Ghost. Back in the 60s, he was an actual bad guy. Ever since the 90s, he has been dumb as a doornail. He was on Cartoon Planet with Space Ghost, Zorak, and Moltar, and also makes guest appearances on Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Do they still make new episodes of that? I love that show.
   
   Brak also has his own "sit-com" but I don't like it very much. His character became more like a dumb kid instead of a TOTALLY stupid weirdo. I think he is dumber, weirder, and funnier with Space Ghost than on his own show.


3. coen brothers:
   Oh wow. I like all their movies. Nuff said.


4. douglas adams:
   He wrote The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - the radio show, the novels, most of the screenplay (before he died). I choose not to mention the horrible BBC television shows. They were so painful...
   
   Also, he is the inspiration for alt.fan.douglas-adams! (See above)
   
   He died far too young. :(


5. flash animation:
   This stuff is great. It's like the wave of the future!! ... kind of ...
   
   One of my favorite shows, Home Movies, now uses flash animation (it used to be Squigglevision). A couple of my favorite websites are dedicated to flash cartoons, too. Here are links if you want to see them:

6. life:
   Why yes, I am very interested in life. It offers many more opportunites than the alternative.


7. mst3k:
   Ahhhh, yes, Mystery Science Theater 3000. Good show. It's about a guy trapped on a spaceship by some weird villains, and he has two little robots that he built for company. They show old campy movies and make fun of them. Hilarious.


8. poi:
   I like to spin poi. Go here for more info on what that means.


9. shaved heads:
   I think men who shave their heads are really sexy. Something about it is rather bold. I like men who are bold and unafraid of reactions to their appearance.


10. trip hop:
    Trip Hop is a genre of music that was pioneered in the early- to mid-90s by Massive Attack. (They have a kind of "unique" website - click here for more comprehensive info on Massive Attack and many other artists.)
    
    I go through phases where this kind of music is the ONLY kind I listen to. It's goooooooood music.
