Possible new furniture

Well, we had a great extended weekend. :) It's funny - ever since Jon said that I get to make the final decision on new furniture, he's been a lot more interested in shopping for it with me! I think he's worried that I'll pick something out that he hates, and he knows I like his input. This is perfect!

This weekend, we found a coffee table that we will definitely be getting no matter what, and looked at a couch/loveseat combo with some potential, and a beautiful sectional that we liked too.

OMG KNITTING LOL!!!!11oneone

Holy bouncy excitement!!! I went home for lunch and saw that the front door was propped open by a package stuck in it! MY XMAS PRESENT FROM frino!!!!!11111oneone ^_^ It's a pattern-a-day calendar!! I'm so tweaked up with excitement!! Eeeeek!!!!!

I was kind of glad I got it a couple days into the new year - it gave me an excuse to look at more than one pattern - hehehe ;). So I got to see the one for this weekend, yesterday, and today. And then I HAD TO STOP. :( Bummer. This is going to be hard. I did look at the index - looks like there's lots of fun stuff in there! Bags, sweaters, socks up the wazoo (woo-hoo!), and some new stitch patterns plus tons of other cool stuff! OK, I did cheat a little and page through to get a peek at the pictures for the next couple days... and I peeked at my birthday and frino's birthday and my wedding date (yeah, I guess we are doing 9/30/06 after all.). This is so freaking exciting! I think it's about 300 total patterns, since each weekend is one pattern and I saw at least one afghan that has 4 parts to the pattern. SO COOL!

Silly winter

This has been a silly winter. We get huge amounts of snow dumped on us, and then it melts into slush right away, and then it dumps on us again! This morning when we were waking up to the radio, we heard that today's high was supposed to be near 40, and then we should get several inches of snow tonight. What??

Jon said this whole winter has been like a cross between winter and spring. He suggests we refer to it as "sprinter". ^_^
