And by "Sprinter" I mean the season that we seem to be trapped in right now. The forecast high for today is about 40 degrees*. The forecast for tomorrow calls for temperatures possibly up to 45 degrees! What is going on here?!? Seriously, we haven't really had much decent snow at all this whole season. Not that I want it, but I feel bad for Jon, who loves to snowboard. He is seriously considering taking a week to go to some mountainous state like Montana or Colorado, just to play in the snow.

*that's about 4.4 Celsius - bear in mind that water freezes at 32F, so 40 is ridiculously balmy and warm for January**
**January is the DEAD of winter in the Northern Hemisphere

Take your first post from each month and post the first sentence or so.
So I did. )

I have this knitting binder that I just put together in the last week or so. It's nice, because now I can keep track of all my WIPs and patterns and notes and stuff. I even made that nice little template that I use to keep track of my WIP notes and details. It's all come in VERY handy already.

So anyway, I have 5 extra-wide tabbed dividers that I want to use to keep the binder more organized as its contents grow. I don't know what to label the tabs!!! I mean, I have some rough ideas, I know I want one section for WIPs, and one for FO notes, and definitely one for Patterns, but what do I do with the other two? Miscellaneous info? Something else? Should I just leave them blank and figure it out later? (Ugh, I really don't like doing stuff like that. I'm so anal. ;)

Also, I have listed 16 categories that I generally sort patterns into. This is PERFECT - it means that I can buy 2 packs of the 8-tab dividers and then sub-divide the Patterns section! However, since the binder is just getting started, I might just hold off on this for now and keep things generally alphabetized until it gets out of hand. These are the categories I'm thinking of using )
I really love this stuff. I am CRAZY about those clear plastic sheet protectors - I can use them for patterns printed off the computer, photocopies from books, and patterns torn out of my magazines! Plus, once I'm done with a project, I can stick the notes into one of them so it doesn't get ripped or lost.

OH WEIRD! I just realized that this is missing 10 of my friends/communities! I wonder if it's got a limit or something...
